The Swedish retail to open first Malaysian outlet in Lot 10 in the third quarter of 2012
Speculations arised since the good news of H&M Malaysia was confirmed: where in Kuala Lumpur would this maiden H&M outlet be?
Well, speculate no more because it is official: H&M Malaysia will be housed by Lot10, Bukit Bintang.
H&M will take over a future vacant lot currently owned by British retailer Debenhams. The double-storey lot has a total area of 18,500 sq ft. Some of its neighbours may move out to make way for a larger retailer. On the breaking of this news, Romp and Timberland have announced the closing of their Lot10 outlets.
H&M coming to Malaysia is part of H&M’s global expansion, with 275 new stores opening globally this year.
H&M is expected to open more Malaysian outlets in major shopping malls namely 1Utama and Sunway Pyramid in the near future.
