1. The Brood

Apparently, women are attracted to men who are moody and don’t smile as much. Must be the whole bad-boy thing. In a study by the University of British Columbia, Canada, it was found that women look for proud alpha males who are dark and brooding. It seems this stems from our primates days and is seen as a sign of a man’s competence and ability to provide.[/two_third]

2. The Joker

Women like a man who can make her laugh, it’s a fact, a proven one at that! A 2009 study presented at the British Psychological Society Annual Conference shows that ladies value a sense of humour in man. This indicates positive traits of someone who is honest and intelligent. Both very attractive qualities, three if you count sense of humour as well.[/two_third]

3. The Average

Generally, physical attractiveness of a man is believed to be made of good genes. But this also means that these men are less likely to stick around knowing that they can mate with multiple women. Professor at the University of Central Lancashire, UK said that thus women are less trusting of them and more likely to choose average-looking guys as life partners.[/two_third]

4. The Bodybuilder

Well, it’s true we are attracted to those with muscles, six-pack abs and well-defined V shape body. Researchers at University of California carried out a study which indicated that muscular guys were twice as likely to have three or more sexual partners than less-chiseled ones. 5. The Girlish

As reported by the University of Aberdeen, Scotland, ladies also prefer more ladylike guys. This would explain the Bieber appeal. But it must be noted that in countries with poorer overall health, women prefer more masculine men for reproductive reason, and the opposite for countries with stronger health indicators. These men will be assumed to have the luxury to care more about things.[/two_third]

6. The Dancer

Researchers at the Northumbria’s School of Sciences found that women look at a man’s ability to dance as a measure of health and strength. It seems your man’s dancing skills is a good indication of not only fitness but lasting prowess in bed. The really attractive types are the ones that can gyrate and flex their head, neck and torso. How about some salsa guys? [/two_third]

7. The Dad

In a study by University of St Andrews, it was discovered that the women participants have partners that resembled their father. The characteristics of the opposite-gender parent are imprinted on the brain at an early age and stay with us forever. Thus, we are likely to go for someone who looks like our dad. Perhaps, this is also why women are attracted to older guys.[/two_third]
