10 Accessory Blogshops in Town

The fuss-worthy accent pieces that will ‘pop!’ your outfits!

A bedroom only feels mine with all my necklaces, headgears, and bows hanging at the back of the room door. They are treasures that took years to collect. An investment worth every penny – because nothing spices up a mustard top quite like a ladies’ blue polkadot bowtie.

Well, what are nice pieces of clothes without some ‘pop!’ to create a sweet resounding ensemble. Today, I’m feeling like dishing out some of my favorite items from my box accessories – for your viewing pleasure. Expect more than just the average necklaces and rings, because we are spilling you with more insider’s info – from handmade notebooks, the sturdy suitcases, right down to ringing bicycle bells! Who needs websites like Etsy when you can literally find all the goodness right here in Malaysia?

#1 Tote Loving

Happy clouds, RM 35

Designer/owner is Sue Lyn, the oriental-looking graphic design student. She takes doodling out of her sketchbook and brings to life delicate, handmade totes. “I like her because she smiles at me and means it" Couple Pack, RM29

Not Mamee or dried nori, but just as sinful – Snackfood is a knick-knack vendor with a feminine vintage flair. You can expect surprises like their long series of grandma suitcases to carefully crafted accessories like this one. While they are building a new site, the old one works perfectly fine. Pay their Facebook page a visit to view their complete collection.

Fuji (red), RM190. Amour (silver), RM490

Have you been saving up for months just to get yourself a metallic red foldable bike? I have! Instead of driving to a nearby store, why not take your green action to the next level and paddle around – because GW provides good-conditioned brand new and used Japanese bikes with very affordable prices. Now it’s the time for the lads to get some vintage goodness – he can take a spin whilst waiting for his girl to complete their therapy at secondhand boutiques. And for the girls, we can take our pleated midi skirt for a breezy ride!

#6 Emo Ego

http://www.imjustemo.com/

Aiko-EXO-1 bracelets, RM25. EMO Play: Go Nuts! 2 necklace, price tbc

Believe me, we were tickled by the name too – but what does their mascot, a black face has anything to do with handmade accessories, you might think? The team explains in their website, ‘One second happy, next second angry – if you set her off. A chameleon of characters rolled into one empowering figure.’ As much as we want to deny, these guys have a point. The collections are derived from their unpredictable nature. Trust finding accessories made out of unconventional materials like peanuts!
