Hello Kitty Town @ Johor Bahru to Open on October 26

Johor Bahru will be home to the first Hello Kitty Town in Southeast Asia this October.

In case you haven’t noticed – Johor is the place to be right now. After the opening of Johor Premium Outlets (JPO) in December, at least tens of thousands are waiting for Legoland theme park to open on September 15. Johor is not planning to slow down anytime soon because Hello Kitty Town will be the newest addition to the already-awesome spots list come October 26.

Located at Nusajaya Johor, Hello Kitty Town will be a part of Puteri Harbour Indoor Family Theme Park. The 4-storey entertainment centre will host walk-through attractions, play structures, various interactive activities and a Hello Kitty-themed rides. Key features include Black Wonder – a hi-tech interactive themed experience, Kitty House – an iconic Hello Kitty house complete with living room, bedroom, bathroom and kitchen, The “Purrfect” stage will house Hello Kitty, My Melody, Little Twin Stars among others.

A wide array of activities will keep your little ones excited and busy – including  jewellery-making, costume party, paint your nail or bake cookies at Wishful Studio. They sound perfect for a mummy-daughter quality time! Visitors could also get a chance to immortalise the feline-galore moments by taking pictures with Hello Kitty and friends. And if the kids are in love with the park (which we believe they would), you can even organise a birthday celebration with Hello Kitty at the dreamy Apple and Strawberry party rooms.

Tickets are now available for online purchase via Air Asia Redtix, at RM65 (normal price) and RM50 (MyKad price). Hello Kitty Town opening hours are 10am – 5pm daily starting Friday, 26 October 2012. For ticketing inquiries, call +603 – 8775 4666. Hotline is operational from 9am-6pm on weekdays.
