Datuk Lee Chong Wei, Captain Jack Sparrow, Einstein and President Barack Obama will all convene at I-City Shah Alam this week. The all-star casts will be part of the line-up at the interactive wax museum, Red Carpet@i-City.

A first for our country and also the first in the region to incorporate both voice and motion capabilities.

There will be 100 wax figures of famous personalities from yesteryears and today on showcase at the 3,000 square feet museum. The Oscar-like awards setting will be categorised according to six themes – World Icons, Celebrities, Sport Stars, World Book of Records, All Stars Café and Interactive.

The highlight of the museum is the interactive feature which will see Korean pop star Psy, King of Rock N Roll Elvis Presley, and King of Pop Michael Jackson strutting their stuff for visitors.

According to reports, the wax figurines are very lifelike and with the new wax technologies, visitors can actually get a chance to touch, pinch and pull the faces of the likes of Mr Bean, Bruce Lee and Jackie Chan among others. A practice that is normally frown upon in other wax museums.

Tickets are priced at RM100 for an adult and RM50 for a child. Malaysians with MyKad are charged RM80 and RM40 respectively. The special family package tickets for two adults and two children are available for RM180.
