Classic reinventions, Santa Claus-inspired, and movie stars on the runway at Milan Menswear Fashion Week
It is a walk through fashion memory lane at the recent Milan Menswear Fashion Week – with the redefinition of slim-fitting suits, a la rockstar bold coats, and monotonous pieces.
Adrien Brody, Jamie Bell, and Willem Dafoe surprised the audience with their game faces on the runways at the Prada show.
The economic crisis at the eurozone significantly shaped the autumn/winter collections at the fashion week, with basic colours and cuts being the key pieces. However, a few standouts add the magic charm to seal the shows smoothly.
“Do not try hard, just add little by little to your wardrobe anything you like,” Angela Missoni gave a useful tip for men who aspire for a classy image.
Frankie Morello – flamboyant, bold, and adventurous
Burberry Prorsum – tough leather detailing for the classic trench
Prada – military inspirations meet rock star embellishments
Giorgio Armani – reinvention of classic cuts through velvet and leather
Vivienne Westwood – Santa Claus-inspired
