While we’ll rarely be chased down by lycanthropes or aliens, the absent-minded human species remain at large, and they’re all around us. To help you equip yourselves with the know-how to avoid unwanted alien gore smeared all over your windscreen (how gross is that?), Shell has launched the Shell Helix D-Academy contest, which will give you a shot at winning a chance to participate in a special driving course dedicated to compact cars.
As described in our brother site, Paultan.org, participants will walk away with driving knowledge and experience that will not only make them better drivers on the road, but potentially life saving experience. You will learn how to become more aware of road conditions and how to react better to safe yourself, and loved ones, from fatal catastrophes.
All you have to do is visit their Facebook page here and pimp your car with the tools available in the app. Follow the instructions and upload a photo of your car to the app before using the pre-loaded tools to style your car. 30 invitations are up for grabs, start juicing your brain for ideas before the contest ends on 29 January 2012.
