A pronto way out to your hair crisis

What is it? A volumizing dry shampoo which sprays on clear.
For? Clean hair in-between hair washes, suitable for all hair colours and types.

Claims? Instantly boosts volume and cleanses hair without water.

Usage? Hold can about 10cm away from head and spray onto scalp and hair, especially at roots. Allow to dry before using fingers to shake out excess product. Brush out thoroughly, style as desired.

When I was a teen, I had long hair, which I had to wash every day after school to remove sweat, oil and dust. Fast forward to now, I still have long hair but I don’t shampoo as often anymore. Why? Because I discovered dry shampoo! Dry shampoos are really convenient, you only need to spend a few minutes spraying and brushing it out, plus you can do it anytime, and almost anywhere.

Pronto Invisible is different from the many dry shampoo sprays out there because for one, it sprays on clear- which is perfect for all hair colours. Most dry shampoos spray on white, and if you are not careful, there is a risk of walking around with a white patch on your head. I used this in the morning, spraying liberally and directly on my scalp, and wherever my hair looks oily. The shampoo went on cool and the formula doesn’t stain clothes nor is it sticky. I personally find the Lemon Verbena scent refreshing and clean, but others might find it a little tart. It dries up in a few seconds and all I do is shake my hair out upside down. Directions say to brush it out, but I prefer to leave it on as I find it gives my hair more volume that way. My hair goes from oil spill to freshly shampooed in less than a minute!

The main ingredients for this shampoo are: gentle starches to absorb excess oil and protect build-up, Vitamin E and wheat proteins to strengthen and protect hair shaft. This spray is also formulated without parabens, sulfates, synthetic dyes, petrochemicals, triclosan or GMOs. By the end of the day, my hair still looks fresh and clean with no sign of oiliness. I find this formula doesn’t dry out my hair, unlike a few I have tried, but rather absorbs the excess oil and leaves my hair smooth sans residue.

A little on the pricey side but Pronto Invisible but I think it’s quite worth, as I mentioned, it has plenty of plus points – one of the few dry shampoos which sprays on clear, doesn’t contain parabens and actually voluminizes hair.

Oscar Blandi Pronto Invisible is priced at RM94 for 142g, and is available at Sephora.
