The 90s music sensation is hitting Malaysian shore on 4 April 2012

The Cranberries are nowhere near dying, for they are both releasing the first new record in 10 years, and flying around the globe in a world tour. Malaysian fans will be the lucky ones for they could listen to ‘Zombie’ live.

The one-night concert will be held at Stadium Negara this coming 4 April. The quartet’s new studio album ‘Roses’ will be released  on 27 February 2012, ahead of the band’s coming to Malaysia.

The Cranberries announced their Malaysia and Singapore concerts on their official Facebook page. Hundreds of responses have been received since.

Their earlier albums were Everybody Else Is Doing It, So Why Can’t We? (1993); No Need to Argue (1994); To the Faithful Departed (1996), Bury the Hatchet (1999) and Wake Up and Smell the Coffee (2001).

The successful rock band is unique for the dreamy voice of Dolores O’Riordan the frontwoman. The band currently consists of guitarist Noel Hogan, bassist Mike Hogan and drummer Fergal Lawler.

Prepare yourself for some musical nostalgia! Tickets are priced at RM110 and RM170 for free seating, RM230 and RM280 for numbered seating, RM220 for the Rock Zone and RM300 for The Pit.
