Alright, enough! Enough of all these commercials for the big Cupid’s day. Gifts to buy, places to go, surprises for her, Valentine’s home cook meals, couple getaways, roses that speak, this and that. Gah, we’ve heard enough. What about the single people? Don’t stay miserable and sulk all day because you don’t have a date for Valentine’s day. Here are some exceptionally fun activities you can do to cheer up the atmosphere.
We reveal to you the Single Awareness Day a.k.a the Anti-Valentine’s Day party. This celebration is all about the single-dom. It’s all about gathering the single people together to proudly announce their relationship status to the world. This could be just as fun as going on a one-on-one date, or even better!
So, here’s what you and your girlfriends/boyfriends can do.
1. Feast
Do not miss out on this extravagance. While those lovey-dovey couples are out there having their candlelit dinner, you and your friends will leave them be and dine together at a table-for-10, with an abundance of delicious food and a good bottle of wine. Have them to go from restaurants or organize a pot-luck, just make sure you have a satisfying meal and have fun!
2. Time for some fun
Pass around a piece of paper and a pen. Get everyone to write down 5 reasons they love about being single. As soon as the list done, get someone to read them out loud, cheers to that. Enjoy while you’re single, make use of the freedom that you have.
3. Cut the Freedom Cake
See, this isn’t so bad, is it? They get chocolates, so what? We get the F-R-E-E-D-O-M cake! We save money and we save some of those weight gain. 5. Sign off early
Yes, it’s back to work the next day. Thus, be sure not to get carried away and try to end the party early so the host can clean up in time and get some good rest. However, before you go to bed, do yourself a favor and repeat this : “ I’m single, I’m happy, and I’m lovin it. ”
