Was the Kentucky Fried Catastrophe a racial issue? Apparently not. The lady who uploaded the video entitled ‘Pekerja KFC yang kurang ajar’ has stepped up to give an account of what happened as she has seen it.

Identified only by her Youtube username, Jess6366, the witness has helped clarify that there were no racial slurs thrown at the KFC employee, although she admitted that the customer, Danny Ng, was speaking in a loud voice demanding an apology from the staff.

She also said that Danny was not the only one who complained. Many others complained because there was no more chicken, and the service was slow. “I don’t think this would have a occurred if the manager came out to explain the situation,” said Jess6366. According to her, the manager was seen chatting with co-workers and didn’t even do a thing when the tense situation exploded into a fight.

Khalid Abdul Samad, Shah Alam MP, reiterated in the press conference that the scuffle was not a racial issue, but a matter of someone trying to purchase fried chicken, and was the result of an inefficient management.
