” Be the change you want to see in this country. “
Malaysia’s 13th general election is near! If we have learnt anything from the previous general election – we CAN make a difference.
According to records up to the third quarter of last year, only 12,400,437 Malaysians were gazetted as voters compared to the number of those eligible to register at 16,131,571 - StarOnline. There are 3.7 million Malaysians aged above 21 who are not registered and as such not eligible to vote in the coming 13th general election. Let’s not fall into complacency thinking that all will be fine if we leave it to the other person to cast the vote.
We can always be the change we want to see in Malaysia, if only we start by voting the right people into the system. We are the future of the country and our voice needs to be heard.
If you are one of the 3.7 million who have not registered, we urge you to do so soonest as the process does take some time.
