Foods That Are Natural Laxatives

Rather than downing manufactured laxatives, why not turn to Mother Nature for help?

Whether you’re suffering from constipation or trying to cleanse your body, natural laxatives are aplenty around us. Any food that has a high fibre or water content such as whole grains and fruits are considered as natural laxatives. Another category would be the foods that contain yoghurt or aloe vera properties.

Below are natural laxatives which can be consumed for overall well being. Do note that as with any laxatives, you should observe caution when consuming them to prevent problems such as dehydration.

Papaya
