The stylish moms and adorable kids who strut their stuff at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week definitely deserve a warm round of applause!
During the 7th September 2103, one of the most fun-loving and charming fashion shows took place at The Stage inside Lincoln Center, New York City – Strut: The Fashionable MOM Show.
Presented by multi-platform lifestyle brand The Moms and SWW Creative, The Mom Show was one of the highlights of the hectic Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week for more reasons than one. First of, take note that the show was aimed to act as a platform for participants to raise awareness of a chosen charity. To elaborate on that, every mother who participated in the fashionable event was doing it to highlight a charitable cause of her choice.
Another appealing factor was simply how fun it turned out to be. Everyday mom-next-doors and their youngsters happily strutted their stuff that evening to the funky beats of the very adorable 10-year-old DJ Fulano!
The models rocked the latest looks from Bloomingdales, Bungalow LV, Ramy Brook, Jay Godfrey, Torn by Ronny Kobo, Yosi Samra, Twenty, JustFab, Kay UNGER New York and Zeus+Dione.
The kids were super adorable, and the moms themselves were truly lovely and enchanting too!
This is actually the third time The Fashionable MOM Show took place. The theme for this season was ‘Strut… Empowering Women, Inspiring Change.’ Truthfully speaking, we felt that the allocated theme could not have been any more befitting as the idea was to not only raise awareness, but to also embrace women who successfully created a balance in their home and work lives. With that said, these spectacular mom-next-doors would like to inspire change and empower other women.
The guest list itself also deserves a mention. Celebrity Mom Melissa Joan Hart was seem front row alongside with fashion icons Jay Manuel and June Ambrose to support the feel-good and fabulous event.
It was truly great to see everyone grinning ear to ear and having so much fun! You go ladies; our hats off to all of you for putting up such a great show.
