5 Reasons We Love The Coach Fall II Collection

As with the passing of Spring and Summer, gone are the preppy and cheerful fashion designs. In its place lie fashion collections that are more sombre and sophisticated; such as The Coach Fall II Collection.

Coach, the leading New York based design house of modern luxury items is a brand that needs no big introduction. This Fall, the brand is offering us a nice combination of classic luxury, modern twist and everyday functionality.

Whilst the collection has just been rolled out in Coach boutiques nationwide, do take note that what you see is not the entire assortment; new items would slowly surface in the coming months. This is due to the fact that the Coach Fall II collection is very extensive.

In order to give you an idea of what to expect from the entire Coach Fall II 2013 collection, here are five things that delighted us when we attended their media preview.

1. Minimalistic.

It is truly evident in these new fashion pieces that the beloved brand is going minimalistic. New silhouettes and designs are seen, classic designs are donned with luxurious leathers and colour palettes are also more subdued and elegant, all clearly elevating the product offering. Honestly speaking, we find this a nice change for Coach.

2. A More Upscale Approach.

In accordance to their new minimalistic direction, the brand is also going towards understated branding. With that said, gone are the large ‘C’s and chunky logos. Instead, we see subtle and classy branding that blend in effortlessly with the sophisticated approach.

3. The Holiday Collection.

This is admittedly one of our most favourite reasons why we love the new Fall II 2013 Collection. Filled with fashionable novelties such as pink leather shoulder bags with snakeskin design, origami iPad cases, pink leather gloves, statement sunglasses with leopard print frames and even a scrabble set; the Holiday 2013 Collection certainly makes for a great Christmas gift idea.

In addition to all that, the brand’s wide variety of beautiful clutches is also to die for. Whether the glamorous embellished grey number or the simple but classy textured pieces; the clutches are simply a perfect partner to complement party outfits with!

4. Bags for work and play.

Coach is definitely going all out this season with their range of bags. Be they classic wallets, chic clutches or practical work bags; the iconic brand has got bags with a look of luxe that are suitable for whether work or play.

A new design and addition to Coach, The Borough makes for a great accessory for working ladies. Extremely spacious and sturdy, we can easily envision these bags fitting in with any sort of corporate wardrobe.

As per the boutique-lined up town that inspired its name, The Madison bags are once again fashionable, elegant and in a class of their own. Looking fresh and feminine, this dressy collection can easily transition from day to night and work to play. A highlight would be their new core of pebbled Italian leather as it gives the bags an impeccable sense of richness and polish.

5. Shoes.

From sleek flats to refined pumps, Coach’s Fall footwear collection comprises of exceptional leathers and impeccable workmanship. While the traditional trademark features like hardware detailing are still present, the collection actually takes on a more subtle approach; similar with its other Fall II siblings. The Coach Fall 2013 collection sees mixed materials, printed fabrics, careful colour blocking, python embossing and bicolour patent designs.

In addition to that, a special mention has to be done for the heels. Deemed as Ophelia, these shoes are designed with a chunky heel and silhouette. Thus, resulting in a distinctive pair of heels that are chic, vintage looking and a bliss for those who like their fashion pieces with a touch of comfort.
