The Crispy Mushroom also comes in a variety of awesome flavours such as Sour Cream, Kimchi, Seaweed, and Wasabi which is perfect for those who love slightly more complex flavours  besides the Original flavour. Sweet Plum Potato Fries (RM4.50)

One of Shihlin Taiwan Street Snacks favourites, Sweet Plum Potato Fries (RM4.50), has undergone a “makeover” with an improved recipe to give you more kick with every bite! Covered in crunchy and flavoursome light golden batter, dusted with plum powder, the improved Sweet Plum Potato Fries is now softer and more fleshy on the inside! A popular snack that is perfect for the whole family!

If you’re looking for a more hearty meal that will not only fill the tummy but keep the tastebuds tingling for more, there are plenty of delicious options of great Taiwanese street snack classics available that will definitely satiate your appetite.

XXL Crispy Chicken (RM6.50)

Probably the first thing that pops to mind whenever one thinks of Taiwanese street food, the XXL Crispy Chicken is a must have and a great experience for first timers as a large, tender and succulent piece of bone-in chicken breast is painstakingly marinated to perfection, coated with imported flour and fried to a golden crisp. A special blend of oriental spices is sprinkled on top of the crust, and the chicken is served uncut for maximum goodness. The XXL Crispy Chicken is best eaten while hot.

Yup, it’s one big hunk of chicken, sometimes the size of your face – so you can see how this could be a meal on its own and can be eaten on the go, tahpau-ed as a snack, and would be the perfect party food to serve at your next house party!

Crispy Floss Egg Crepe (RM6.00)

Every culture has it’s version of the popiah and the Taiwanese version is deliciously light using a whole fresh egg that is panfried and topped with an imported spring onion crepe. Imagine a generous amount of tasty, crispy chicken floss rolled up inside a slightly crispy and fluffy crepe, conveniently cut into bite sized pieces and drizzled with a delicious sauce that make these the perfect finger foods.

Handmade Oyster Mee Sua (RM6.50)

Another street food favourite, the handmade Oyster Mee Sua may look like a small serving but boy, does that small bowl pack a punch! This is definitely a filling meal for days you just want some good, comfort food especially on a cold, rainy day as it will definitely warm the cockles (or oysters) of your heart.

How does the broth taste so rich and complex? It’s all thanks to a special stock comprising of five core ingredients that’s brewed over a slow flame which forms the soup base for the imported mee sua. It’s slightly tangy, which the cilantro balances out perfectly and only handmade mee sua is used for its superior flavour and texture.

A generous amount of juicy oysters, shredded chicken and sambal gives the dish some bite, and of course the Handmade Oyster Mee Sua is best eaten while hot. Loud slurping not optional!

Happy! Ricebox Set (RM9.00)

Finally, if a meal isn’t complete without some rice for you – not a problem! Have the best of both worlds and get your rice fix along with tasty morsels of delicious XXL Crispy Chicken for a complete meal! The accompanying side dish of delicious, smooth cold tofu topped with diced century egg and tasty Taiwanese style thick sauce completes the picture and the set is served with soft, fluffy short grained rice and your choice of drink for a fuller experience.
