Rock Steady..and be a L.A.M.B. with the new collection from OPI
Gwen Stefani is undoubtedly the queen of all things cool – I mean c’mon, she hasn’t aged a day since rocking into our lives with Just A Girl! So whether you’re the pink-hair and braces 90s Gwen with her bindi or the ‘grown up’ sleek blonde bombshell that she is now, there’s something for everyone in this collection.
We wrote about her collection release last month, and decided to try the mini collection consisting of:
Hey Baby (Creme Gloss) When it comes to pink, you’re the “bright” one for me
I Sing In Color (Creme Gloss) The deep tones of this luscious blackberry hit all the right notes
Love. Angel. Music. Baby. (Satin/No top coat) This matte gold with satin sheen complements all your passions
4 in the Morning (Satin/ No top coat) This dramatic, satin black is a hit at after parties
We used three of the colours above and used the promo picture as inspiration.Step 1: Using 4 in the Morning, paint two coats on all your nails. This dries up a nice, matte black
Step 2: Hey Baby provides a gorgeous contrast to the black, so using the shape of the brush – ensure that you don’t apply too much product, and draw a strip down your nail from the top. Make sure it doesn’t go all the way down. Alternate the position of the strip on all your nails so it doesn’t look too uniform.
Step 3: To avoid the monotony, use Love. Angel. Music. Baby. on one of your nails. This gold glitter is uber opaque and even one layer will do the trick!
Overall, we really like how interchangeable the colours are and the whatever combination you choose, you can bet that it will look edgy – just like Gwen!
