The annual BookFest Malaysia is back from July 26th to Aug 3rd at KL Convention Centre. The theme for this year is ‘Read On, Dream On’ and it promises to be a celebration of literature from 10am to 10pm daily.
With 676 booths planned for the exhibition space, there will be a plethora of choices for book lovers to indulge in from children to young adults, leisure, architectural as well as fiction and non-fiction.
To make the event even more interesting, the organiser Popular has decided on different themes for different days such as a day dedicated to children, cooking, finance, travel and etc.
This will also be the time to catch some of the authors in person like Shamini Flint of the Inspector Singh series and Cheeming Boey, the artist who is responsible for the bestselling ‘When I Was A Kid’ book.
Admission to BookFest Malaysia 2014 is with purchase of the BookFest catalogue at RM2.50 per entry or RM10 for multiple entries over the nine days. Students who are 18 years old and below, and senior citizens aged 60 and above, can get in for free.
